Before taking the Comprehensive Exam, candidates interested in earning the PSC designation from the American Association of Service Coordinators must meet all program requirements.

Candidates must be a current AASC member in good standing. Join AASC!
All modules must be completed within two years of registration.
The comprehensive exam must be taken within one year of completing the last required module. There is a required 30-day wait period between completing the final module and sitting for the exam.
The required documentation of education or experience and completion of SC101: Fundamental of Service Coordination must be uploaded to Your Account.
Candidates must complete the Exam Registration form indicating if the exam will be taken at an in-person testing site or with Proctorio, an online proctoring option. Additional fees are the responsibility of the candidate and are non-refundable and non-transferable. **Online proctoring requires minimum technical requirements that should be carefully considered before selecting this option.

The exam consists of 80 questions that are derived from the twelve core modules of the Professional Service Coordinator Program. A minimum score of 80% is required to be successful. Candidates may take up to two hours to complete the exam unless special accommodations are arranged in advance.
Candidates may review the provided Study Tips in preparation for the exam.
Candidates requesting test accommodations (e.g., additional time or screen reader) should email aging@osu.edu or call 614-293-4815 at least four weeks before the scheduled test date. Additional fees may apply for accommodations.
Test-takers will immediately receive a preliminary score after submitting the exam. Exam results are not final until reviewed by the PSC Program Committee.
Final exam results are mailed by first-class postal service to the address provided by the candidate 4-6 weeks following the examination date.

Once all requirements have been completed, candidates should indicate their readiness to take the exam by completing the Exam Registration form. The PSC committee will contact you after verifying all documentation and confirming that the modules were completed by the stated deadlines.
